Anthony is originally from Northeastern Pennsylvania and started singing and dancing at the age of two. While in high school, he received a full scholarship to attend the Performing Arts Institute at Wyoming Seminary for Musical Theatre. Anthony attended Pennsylvania State University and received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre Performance. While there, he received dance training under Lon Hurst, Michele Dunleavy, and broadway legend Spence Ford; he also received vocal training under Bev Patton, Raymond Sage, and Mary Saunders-Barton.
After graduation, Anthony performed in multiple professional productions including Off-Broadway shows at New World Stages and “the cell” theatre in New York City, as well as the National Touring Productions of Children’s Letters to God and Seussical the Musical where he worked with Choreographer and Tony Award Nominated Director Marcia Milgrom Dodge.
While living in New York City, Anthony attended classes at Broadway Dance Center and the Alvin Ailey Dance Extension, and would commute to One Day at a Time Dance Studio in Pennsylvania to teach Tap and Jazz between professional acting jobs. Anthony was also an Artist-in-Resident at Wallenpaupack High School. He has taught Musical Theatre Auditions classes and voice classes for high school students. His students have been accepted to such prestigious Musical Theatre programs as Catholic University, Desales University, Ithaca College, Pennsylvania State University, and PACE University in NYC.
Anthony is also a director and choreographer. His favorite show was Little Shop of Horrors which he directed and choreographed at Honesdale High School in Pennsylvania. Other choreography and direction credits include Seussical, Honk Jr., Sisters of Swing, and The Last Five Years.
Anthony is a proud member of the Actors Equity Association, the professional union for actors.
