Brie Valenti-Crane
Brie Valenti-Crane is a multiple Regional and National Award winning choreographer and an accomplished dancer who has been dancing her way through life for over 35 years. She holds certifications from Dance Educators, Zena Rommett Floor Barre ®, Acrobatic Arts, Alixa Flexibility and Progressing Ballet Technique. She is the only Flagler County dance instructor to currently hold certifications in ballet, jazz and acrobatics from Florida Dance Masters.
She began her training at the age of seven, studying with several highly acclaimed studios, such as Deltona Dance Academy and Studio 5D, to name a few. Training six days a week with her competitive team, she won numerous awards and medals, including dance scholarships from Dance Masters and L.A. Dance Magic, as well as titles in the Miss Dance of Central Florida Pageant.
After graduating in 2000, Brie began working under the direction of Howie Dourough of the Backstreet Boys, managing and choreographing the dancers at his night club in Orlando. Brie has studied with big names such as Frank Hatchett, Ray Leeper, Mia Michaels, Maria Weatherbee, Shelleh Harkcom, Jenny Strickland, Eileen Zielinski, Gaymarie Tomlinson, Debbie Cole, Pam Bowling, The Orlando Magic, XFL, and has done summer intensives with the Moscow Ballet. She has been featured in national television ads, and seen live on ESPN, CBS, and ABC. She also appeared in the hit film The Water Boy starring Adam Sandler and Henry Winkler.
Brie’s students have gone on to work on cruise ships, NFL Dance/Cheer Teams, movies & television. Many have gained agency representation and have assisted for prestigious conventions such as ASH, Dance Makers & Revel.
Currently, Brie lives in Palm Coast with her husband Braham, daughter Jazmyne and her sons JR, Jett and Judah. In addition to being the Owner and Artistic Director of Mia Bella Academy of Dance, she has a thriving mentorship program, Mentoring Beyond A Dancer, specializing in preparing dancers for “the next step,” has been an adjunct tap teacher at Florida School of the Arts, a Guest Artist for Matanzas High School’s Dance Team, Orchessis, a sponsor and choreographer for the Old Kings Elementary School Dance Team and travels to judge regional competitions and teaches master classes all around the United States.
Brie is a member with high honors in Dance Educators of America. She has also been accepted into the National Association of Professional Business Women, nominated by the city of Palm Coast. You may find Brie in the prestigious Who’s Who in America 2011, teaching edition. Brie is also on track to finish her degree in Leadership in December of 2024. Though her passion is Jazz, Brie loves all styles of dance and loves being able to share that passion with her students.
In her spare time, Brie is an avid animal lover and enjoys spending time with her three dogs and three horses, and is a sponsored rider for Kastel Denmark.
