Recreational Program
If you’re someone who loves music and wants a creative and fun way to express yourself, our recreational program is for you. Whether you have or have not danced before, we have what you are looking for! We offer genres ranging from ballet, hip hop, pom, tap, lyrical, acro, leaps, turns, tricks, musical theater and so much more. Dance is fun for all ages. We have classes from 18 months to 80+.
In our classes, your dancer will learn proper technique, musicality, discipline, creativity, improvisation, make so many new friends and have fun while doing it! Check out our classes to see what styles peak your interests and join the ”Zebra Family” today!
Apprentice Team
The apprentice team is an introduction to the world of competitive dance! This team builds on technique and is skills driven. All of our apprentice dancers work closely with staff and professional company members, learning choreographed dance pieces. The focused course work provides fun opportunities for special performances and public appearances throughout the year! Group dancers of all dance genres are welcome! Diversity with a broad technical range is what we strive for.
Requirements:
- Completion of Boot Camp is required for acceptance onto the Apprentice Team
- Golden Ticket or staff evaluation
- Ability to attend required MBAD classes, rehearsals and events

The TRIBE
MBAD Elite Competition Team, AKA The TRIBE, is designed for students who show exceptional promise in their training and have an overwhelming desire to become an exceptional dancer. Students participate in performance groups styled in: ballet, jazz, tap, hip hop, contemporary, etc. The Tribe works extremely hard in extra rehearsal classes and dance conventions/competitions on the weekends throughout the year.
Requirements:
- Instructor approval and completion of 2 Boot Camps are required for acceptance onto Tribe
- Regular Season Tribe commitment is from Summer through the following Summer. The new season will begin for all Tribe members in August with classes, choreography, and Boot Camp
- Minimum of one season on Apprentice Team, unless coming from another competitive program of a similar training catalog
